What is a Waiters Service Cloth?
Made of a thick cotton, use Waiters Service Cloths to reduce risk of burning from carrying hot plates. Place cloths within your hand before carrying or receiving a hot plate.
Can you wash Waiters Service Cloths in a washing machine?
Yes is the simple answer!
Wash Waiters Service Cloths in washing machines at a temperate of at least 60 degrees Celsius in order to remove food and drink stains.
Use a powerful washing detergent such as our Laundry Destaining Powder to clean service cloths and remove stubborn food and drink stains.
It is important to remove grease from service cloths before putting them in a tumble dryer. Greasy residue on cloths and towels is one of the biggest causes of fires in laundries. After tumble drying hot greasy residue can easily ignite cloths.
As a result always add a degreaser such as our Laundry Emulsifier in the pre-wash or the start of the main hot wash. Our Laundry Emulsifier breaks down greasy food stains and helps remove them in the wash cycle.
Do not use Waiters Service Cloths to clean floors or surfaces. This is because it will end up staining cloths and shortening their useful life by wearing the cotton fabric.
